Our very popular bouzouki lessons program, instructed by the accomplished musician Dimitris Marinos, will start again on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010, 1:30 pm

As it was the case last year, the program includes sessions for beginning, intermediate and advanced students.

To accomodate increasing demand, a new Tuesday session for beginning and intermediate students will be added, starting on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at 4:30 pm.

Instruction in the classroom focuses on bouzouki playing and it includes teaching of basic music theory.

Students are required to bring their own instrument.

The students of the program will perform under Mr. Marinos' direction at some of the Academy's musical events.

Tuition for a block of 10 sessions is $200 payable upon registration.

2010/2011 Bouzouki Class Schedule

SATURDAYS

First class on October 2nd, 2010, 1:30 pm

Intermediate level: 1:30 pm - 2:15 pm

Beginning level: 2:15 pm - 3:00 pm

Advanced level: 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

(4 students minimum for each level to be formed)

TUESDAYS

First class on October 5th, 2010, 4:30 pm

Beginning and Intermediate levels: 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Introducing Dimitris Timoleontos, music teacher at the Socrates Hellenic American Day School.

Mr. Timoleontos, an accomplished musician and guitarist, will also be available for after-school guitar lessons to all aspiring young musicians.

Tuition for a block of 10 lessons is $200 payable upon registration.

All levels: 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm

All levels: 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

A minimum of 4 students is necessary for each class to be formed.
